As part of the Moscow industrial development strategy approved by Sergei Sobyanin, the Rudnevo Industrial Park will expand. By 2030, its area will increase 3.3-fold, to 175 hectares.
"Following Sergei Sobyanin's instructions, we continue to create conditions for the development of high-tech manufacturing in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ). By 2030, we will expand the Rudnevo Industrial Park by 3.3-fold, to 175 hectares. This will allow us to localize more enterprises in the capital and increase the production of innovative products to meet the needs of city residents," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
Rudnevo is one of the largest sites in the special economic zone. Within five years, the total area of production, public, and business spaces here will exceed one million square meters. More than 65 additional industrial enterprises will be located using the established infrastructure.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin outlined the strategy for the development of Moscow's industry through 2030. A key focus of this strategy is the expansion of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. As the Moscow Mayor noted, by 2030, its territory is planned to be significantly expanded to 600 hectares and 5.6 million square meters of industrial infrastructure. More than 90,000 specialists will work there.
Residency status in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ provides companies with significant benefits. These include a 10-year exemption from property, land, and transport taxes, a reduced corporate income tax rate of two percent instead of 25 percent, and the abolition of customs duties and VAT on imported goods and equipment within the free customs zone.
