Industrial enterprises can now access a full range of services — from the development of design and technical documentation by their own design bureau to product manufacturing and intellectual property protection.
A shared-use industrial equipment center has opened in Moscow at the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, on the Pechatniki site (42 Volgogradsky Prospekt, Building 5).
“The center occupies more than 1,500 square meters and is intended for any Moscow-based industrial enterprise, including residents of the special economic zone. It is equipped with milling, turning, laser, additive, welding, and other modern equipment. Using the center’s high-tech machines, enterprises can produce additional parts, components, and assemblies near their own production sites. This will accelerate the production of final products and reduce logistics costs, which is especially important for small-batch production,” wrote Sergey Sobyanin in his MAX messenger account.
At the center, companies can access a full range of services — from the development of design and technical documentation by their own design bureau to product manufacturing and intellectual property protection. Essentially, it operates as a one-stop shop under the motto: “From technical idea to perfect form.”
The center’s technological capabilities ensure high-quality metalworking, including:
— Turning and milling for high-precision machining of complex parts;
— Electrical discharge machining for creating custom holes and shaped elements;
— Advanced 3D and 5D printing for producing complex objects from digital models;
— Laser cutting for precise and clean cuts of various materials;
— Powder coating for durable and eco-friendly protective and decorative finishes;
— Sheet metal and tube bending using specialized presses and pipe-bending machines;
— Heat treatment to alter and enhance the mechanical properties of materials;
— Flat and cylindrical grinding for high-quality and precise surface finishing.
Each stage aims to produce items that meet the highest industrial standards. Equipment was selected based on the needs of SEZ residents. The center is equipped with 22 modern machines, including a five-axis vertical milling center DK5-50, a four-axis CNC lathe Hadsen W7-8/6CYD, and a flat grinding machine with NC controller Hadsen 4080APS. Automated control and online updates for customers are ensured at all stages. Highly qualified specialists provide operational supervision and technical testing.
Additionally, the center’s experts assist in implementing complex projects for developing technological processes, designing, and equipping mechanical processing facilities, including the selection and supply of machines, tooling, and instruments. This includes projects to increase labor productivity through digitalization and robotics. A testing zone for the latest production equipment and technologies has been established for these purposes.
Applications for center services can be submitted on the Technopolis Moscow SEZ website.
A similar center already operates at the Rudnevo SEZ site, equipped with over 35 high-tech machines, including 3D printers, lathes, EDM machines, laser cutters, and milling machines. It also features areas for metalworking, painting, welding, additive manufacturing, material preparation, heat treatment, and chemical oxidation.
By order of Sergey Sobyanin, another shared-use center — the Moscow Microelectronics Testing Laboratory — will open at the Alabushevo SEZ site in March 2026.
“Such centers help industrial enterprises, including smaller ones, develop more actively by allowing them to produce prototypes and small batches of products at low cost using the most innovative high-tech equipment,” Sobyanin wrote in his MAX account.
