Residents of the Moscow SEZ “Technopolis” created over a thousand jobs in the first quarter of 2025.

"Technopolis Moscow SEZ Residents Created Over 1,000 Jobs in Q1 2025

From January to March 2025, enterprises within the Technopolis Moscow SEZ created more than 1,000 high-tech jobs. Since companies first began operating in the SEZ, over 24,300 jobs have been created, with nearly 19,400 provided directly by SEZ residents. This was announced by Anatoly Garbuzov, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

“Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a key driver of industrial growth and human capital development in the capital. Thanks to the modernization and expansion of production, SEZ companies are attracting more and more specialists. In Q1 2025 alone, residents created over 1,000 high-tech jobs. Altogether, more than 24,300 jobs have been established within the SEZ, with 19,400 of them created by its residents,” noted Anatoly Garbuzov.

For example, companies specializing in radio electronics and microelectronics opened more than 310 new positions in the first quarter of 2025. Pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers created around 340 jobs over the same period.

“The rapid development of Moscow’s industry is driving demand for skilled professionals. In April, the Pechatniki site hosted its first job fair, where about 30 enterprises specializing in biopharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, photonics, additive technologies, and unmanned aerial systems offered employment opportunities. As a result, more than 60 people were hired,” added Gennady Degtev, CEO of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ."
