Oil and Gas Component Manufacturer Becomes Resident of Technopolis Moscow SEZ
The company AGV, specializing in the production of components for the oil and gas industry, has become a new resident of the Alabushevo site of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The announcement was made by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
“Under the instruction of Sergey Sobyanin, the city provides comprehensive support to Moscow-based enterprises in strategic sectors. A new SEZ resident is engaged in developing high-tech components for the oil and gas industry. Resident status opens up access to broad city support, including tax incentives and various benefits. The new resident of Technopolis Moscow SEZ plans to launch localized production of components for piston compressors and gas-piston engines. Investments in the project, which will create around 140 new high-tech jobs, will exceed 1.3 billion rubles,” said Maxim Liksutov.
The new SEZ resident has been present on the Russian market for over 10 years as a developer and manufacturer of critical compressor equipment components such as valves, piston rings, rods, and pistons. Its products are compatible with both domestic and foreign-made machinery.
“High-tech production of oil and gas industry components will be localized at the Alabushevo site of the Moscow SEZ, where modern industrial infrastructure is actively developing. The new resident will launch production of innovative products across 4,000 square meters in an industrial technopark, the first stage of which was completed last year. Production capacity will reach up to 20,000 parts per year. Operations are scheduled to begin by the end of 2026,” explained Anatoly Garbuzov, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
At Alabushevo, the enterprise will manufacture advanced products using innovative composite materials and cutting-edge technologies, including diamond-graphite coatings. These solutions will significantly enhance reliability and extend the service life of equipment exposed to extreme mechanical stress and temperatures during industrial processes.
“The oil and gas sector is one of the most high-tech segments of the country’s economy. Since 2008, our enterprise has focused on domestic production strategies and supplying the Russian market with locally made components. Over the years, we have built the expertise to successfully compete with foreign manufacturers and deliver advanced solutions fully compliant with international standards. The steadily growing demand for high-quality domestic products requires expansion of production capacities and the adoption of modern technologies — not only to meet market demand but also to strengthen the country’s technological sovereignty. Opening a new production site at the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will allow us to increase output three to four times, significantly expand our product range, and build the technological foundation needed for export growth,” emphasized Nikita Lebedev, co-founder of AGV.
According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of the Moscow SEZ, resident status provides companies with a wide range of tax incentives, including zero land, property, and transport taxes, zero VAT, reduced profit tax from 25% to 2%, as well as a free customs zone regime. These benefits will enable the innovative enterprise to significantly increase investment in the scientific and industrial development of its production."
