Sergey Sobyanin: “Technopolis Moscow” Will Become One of the Largest Industrial Centers in Europe
“We have reviewed the development strategy of the SEZ through 2030. Our plans include creating more than 90,000 jobs and attracting over 1.2 trillion rubles in investments,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow in his Telegram channel.
Today, the SEZ hosts more than 220 high-tech enterprises, 120 of which are residents. Here, companies are developing microchips, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles, and batteries — the key technologies of the future. A total of 1.6 million square meters of industrial infrastructure has already been built, and by 2030 this figure will increase 3.5 times, reaching 5.7 million square meters.
Projects are being developed across ten sites, including Rudnevo, Pechatniki, Alabushevo, and Krasnaya Pakhra. SEZ residents benefit from all the necessary conditions for growth: tax and customs incentives, preferential lease rates, modern infrastructure, and ongoing support from the Moscow Government.
