The Mayor of Moscow announced the growth of high-tech productions in the capital

Moscow Mayor Reports Growth of High-Tech Manufacturing                                                                           The turnover of high-tech manufacturing in Moscow doubled in 2024, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced on his Telegram channel.

“The main contribution came from the production of computers and peripheral equipment, measuring and navigation instruments, clocks, electronic components and printed circuit boards, as well as communications equipment,” noted the Mayor.

Small businesses have also become key drivers of growth. Their turnover increased 2.6 times, and their share in the sector rose to 34.7 percent.

High-tech manufacturing is now one of the fastest-growing sectors of Moscow’s industry. In 2024, output of computers, optics, and electronics in the city grew more than 2.1 times. This progress is partly the result of active city support and investment in enterprise development.

Last year alone, 30 new high-tech enterprises opened in the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone.
