A Modern Business and Community Center Opens at Rudnevo Industrial Park
A new multifunctional business and community center at Rudnevo Industrial Park, part of the “Technopolis Moscow” Special Economic Zone (SEZ), has received its operating permit. The complex will feature social infrastructure, office spaces, laboratories, coworking areas, and light manufacturing units, city officials said.
“We continue to develop facilities that attract investors, as instructed by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. “The new center at Rudnevo will provide offices and space for light production, meeting companies’ demand for additional premises while offering modern social infrastructure to residents of Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka. It will also create thousands of new jobs in the city.”
The complex consists of two 12-story towers connected by a podium, which houses underground parking and two floors dedicated to social infrastructure. The total area is 60,000 square meters. The first and second floors will host a supermarket, service centers, a pharmacy, beauty salons, cafes and restaurants, a fitness center, and recreation areas. Commercial spaces range from 20 to 1,000 square meters and are available with either pre-finished or fully finished options. Over 2,300 square meters on the third floor will be used for coworking spaces, a conference center, and public areas.
“The industrial park is divided into three large zones with well-developed transport and pedestrian networks,” said Anatoly Garbuzov, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. “It currently includes 22 administrative, business, and industrial buildings with a total area exceeding 340,000 square meters. Twenty-five companies operate here, including 13 SEZ residents. Rudnevo Industrial Park is a key hub for high-tech production — by 2025, more than 6,000 jobs are expected to be created on site.”
Rudnevo Industrial Park recently hosted the second Demo Day of effective regional practices, attracting over 200 participants, including representatives from new regions, industrial enterprises, and development agencies. Attendees presented solutions aimed at boosting industrial capacity and increasing investment flows into the economy.
The park is easily accessible, with major highways such as the MKAD, M-5 “Ural”, M-7 “Volga”, and M-12 Moscow–Nizhny Novgorod–Kazan nearby. Public transport is also well developed, with metro stations “Nekrasovka” and “Lukhmanovskaya” and the Zhukovsky and Domodedovo airports in close proximity.
“Modern technologies and materials allowed the project to be completed quickly,” said Gennady Dyogtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ. “Special attention was paid to landscaping. The podium roof features recreational zones with lawns, trees, and shrubs, while the surrounding area includes benches, swings, sports equipment, and other amenities.”
On the 4,700-square-meter podium roof, green zones and sports facilities have been created, with lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and playgrounds. The opening of the center is expected to boost Rudnevo Industrial Park’s investment appeal and generate additional jobs in Moscow.
