88 companies are currently working on the territory of Technopolis Moscow, ten of them resumed activity this week. All organizations comply with all security measures for their employees and some of them have changed their line of business in accordance with the new demands of coronavirus outbreak. “Today some goods are demanded tens of times more due to obvious reasons. Many processing enterprises in Moscow have not only resumed their work this week but have also offered to help the city and the country fight the coronavirus infection. It’s mostly apparent with the companies of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. A number of companies have quickly changed their lines of business to the production of hermetical cases, components for medical equipment, capsules for antiseptics, accessory parts for medical ventilators, septic systems for wastewater and other necessary products”, informed Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow.

Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow assured that all companies of SEZ Technopolis Moscow which took the decision to continue working take maximum safety measures. Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow points out that “although the processing companies are allowed to resume production the management of these enterprises arranges remote work for as many employees as possible. ”Those companies which continue and have resumed work still try to involve minimum number of employees providing them with all necessary means of protection and ensuring social distance”, he added.

For the processing enterprises the decision to resume production regardless of all difficulties related to the safety measures for the employees is actually the only chance not to quit their activity and prove useful for the city, believes Sergey Shagalov, Development Director of VDK company. “Resuming work in this tough time is important for the company because the unique systems of water treatment and antisepsis developed by our experts can come in handy in the pandemic fight. VDK is going to keep working strengthening the protection measures for workers - first of all the reduction of the number of employees in a shift and self-isolation for elderly workers. Besides all staff is going to commute only by individual transport or taxis”, said Sergey Shagalov.
