Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow launched the production of protective suits

A consumer industry enterprise, a resident company of special economic zone Technopolis Moscow – Orthomoda has converted its production capacities to the tailoring of individual protection means, as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow. “Today six Moscow consumer industry enterprises have converted their manufacturing to make protective clothes. Such solutions have become possible following the joint efforts of business and the Department of investment and industrial policy of the city. By September the companies will provide healthcare centers with about 4.5 million gowns and 1.5 million shoe covers”, added Alexander Prokhorov.

Currently Orthomoda is executing its first bulk order for 1000 waterproof protective suits and at the same time it is negotiating with other interested companies and preparing terms of reference said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “On the territory of Technopolis Moscow Orthomoda has allotted one sewing workshop for the double shift production of protective suits. By now the tenant has provided protection means for all its employees, delivery people and visitors of the company”, specified Gennady Degtev.

Orthomoda has taken a response decision to take on digital technologies, draw up the suits and send them for cutting, shared Galina Volkova, CEO of Orthomoda. “Our teams which are still visiting our clients at home to deliver orders and get measures for individual orthopedic footware need better protection means. Our protective suits are reusable and washable complying with WHO recommendations” said Galina Volkova.
