High-tech manufacturers of switches and servers became new residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Companies DS Electronics and DS Technologies, manufacturers of switch-boards, server mother boards and OCP server systems have joined the resident companies of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, reported Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow.

“The enterprises DS Electronics and DS Technologies are going to complete the construction on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow in Pechatniki by the end of 2020 and 2021 correspondingly. The amounts of direct investments (excluding VAT) to the projects up to 2024 will amount to RUR 156.33 million for DS Electronics and RUR 205.13 million for DS Technologies”, specified the Head of the Department.

The sale proceeds expectations from DS Electronics in the nearest ten years are RUR 2.69 billion, from DS Technologies – RUR 3.172 billion. Total payroll for the same period is RUR 271.53 million. On the territory of special economic zone DS Electronics will be located on 1.6 thousand square meters and DS Technologies – on 2.2 thousand square meters, added Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

“SEZ Technopolis Moscow attracts more and more high tech companies. Since the beginning of the year three organizations have already gained the resident status increasing the number of SEZ tenants up to 69. New residents can take advantages of all SEZ preferences allowing the companies to save up to 47% of TAX and obligatory payments”, said Gennady Degtev.

Concentration of the companies in the main development center of high tech production in Moscow not only ensures TAX exemptions but also gives opportunities to raise the potential, find mutually advantageous cooperation with other tenants and improve the existing developments, shared Andrey Chernyshov, CEO of DS Electronics and DS Technologies.

“Both enterprises are aimed to fully place the production of p-c boards for high-end switches and servers on the territory of Technopolis Moscow. It should become the first Russian production with a fully located assembly of the most advanced p-c switches. The holding company Delta Solutions is completing the development of the storage system with a distributed architecture capacity up to 18 PB to be produced on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow as well”, said Andrey Chernyshov.
