Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will invest about 1 billion rubles in new production

A producer of forklift loaders “Gringo” company will allocate about 1 billion Rubles to the development of a new production, starting the construction of a new plant this year in Alabushevo, a site of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, declared Vladimir Efimov, Chairman of the Crisis center for economy, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations.

“Today the share of domestic products in this sector doesn’t exceed 5% of total consumption. The new production site will provide for the replacement of imported equipment and is supposed to cover up to 30% of the needs of the Russian loaders market by 2024. The investor will spend about 1 billion Rubles on the construction of a new plant, paying taxes of all levels in the amount of 150 million Rubles per year”, said Vice-Mayor.

The construction of a new plant with a total area of 10 thousand square meters, an administrative building, a testing facility and a warehouse will be completed next year. “The company Gringo has been a resident of the special economic zone since October, 2017 and avails of the relevant tax preferences providing for the production development. Thus the new plant implies over 70 new working places”, mentioned Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow.

According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, the location of the plant close to motor roads and railways will ensure solid supply of components for the production of loaders and shipment of the end products.
