State Inspection on Realty has examined the resident companies and the tenants of SEZ Technopolis Moscow which keep working in the conditions of restrictions regime and hasn’t revealed any violations of safety measures, informed Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations.

“On the whole there are more than 140 residents and tenants in the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, 86 of them continue their work involving more than a thousand employees every day. The inspection has proved that all companies fully observe safety measures of protection against coronavirus”, pointed out Vice-Mayor. He also added that among the companies which continue working are large and medium manufacturers of robotechnics, medical equipment and compartments, composites, optical transformers, photosensitisers, disinfection devices and other goods.

Besides those companies which had to suspend work will receive a 50% rent discount in April, May and June. This measure will save the producers more than 50 million Rubles on rent in three months.

According to the Head of the State Inspection on Realty Vladislav Ovchinskiy, a number of inspections of the enterprises in the special economic zone have shown a responsible approach to the safety measures. “The control starts at the checkpoint – you can’t enter the territory without a mask and disposable gloves, the temperature is measured in a touchless mode and the information is fixed in special record books”, he clarified.

The compliance with safety measures is controlled by the management of the special economic zone. “We have arranged testing for the workers of the enterprises. Those companies which didn’t manage to do it are now concluding agreements with certified laboratories and will test their employees one of these days”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

As you know, SEZ Technopolis Moscow comprises five sites (Technopolis Moscow in Pechatniki, Alabushevo, Mikron, Angstrem, MIET) with a total area of 206.8 ha. The special economic zone of Moscow is one of the few in Russia and the world with both greenfield and brownfield territories.
