The investor will invest 2.8 billion rubles in the construction of a new pharmaceutical plant in Moscow

Bright Way Industries LLC, a resident company of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, starts the construction of a pharmaceutical plant in late June. The investor is expected to spend 2.8 billion Rubles on the new production, informed Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations.

“The company is going to produce 78 items of drugs, decreasing import dependency and covering the demands of all groups of citizens in medicines at affordable price. The investor will spend 2.8 billion Rubles on the project and create almost 370 new jobs. Extra 2.5 billion Rubles will be allocated as taxes to all levels of budget”, said Vice-Mayor.

The new plant will be located at Alabushevo site of SEZ Technopolis Moscow on the plot of 3.01 ha. The area of the production complex will be 49.5 thousand м². “The plant will be brought into operation in the third quarter next year, producing a wide range of drugs for cardiovascular and digestive systems, metabolism, breathing and locomotor systems, as well as antimicrobial drugs for long-term use”, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.

Resident status and the location in Technopolis provide the company with up to 47% savings on taxes and other obligatory payments every year. “Bright Way Industries became a resident of the special economic zone in May, 2018. Tax benefits allow to allocate funds to additional research, faster production and entry to the market of competitive products”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
