Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow expanded the list of products for the supply of Mosoblgaz

In addition to composite cases, the NCC company, a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow now supplies Mosoblgaz with another innovative product for protecting gas pipes - a special repair sleeve. The NCC company is a leader in the market of composites, it has been manufacturing composite materials on the territory of Technopolis Moscow for more than 8 years, since 2017 it has been producing innovative products for protecting gas pipes. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow for more than a year the company has been a partner with Mosoblgaz. “Composite materials manufactured by NCC are highly reliable and multifunctional, therefore the range of their application varies from aviation to construction. For example, to protect the existing gas pipelines, Mosoblgaz has been successfully using composite cases manufactured by NCC since 2019. In 2020, the list of products used by Mosoblgaz was also supplemented with a composite coupling, which is designed to eliminate through and part-through flows in gas pipes formed during operation”, – specified Gennady Degtev. During the repair of an existing gas pipeline, the problem area is sealed and crimped by the body of the coupling, which eliminates further gas leaks. The coupling is used for repair, while the composite case protects the gas pipeline from its possible damage. “In fact, composite products replace traditional steel cases, which are less convenient for installation: in particular, they require welding, which is critical when working with gas.
