The new resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will invest about 260 million rubles in the production of optical equipment

The company Neoros, which started production at the site in Pechatniki in December 2019, has received the status of a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. By the end of 2020, the company's total investment in the development of optical components production will be about 260 million rubles, as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow. The company focuses on the production of optical equipment for telecom operators and data centers. The end products will be used in special and military hardware, measuring equipment and telecommunication networks of telecom operators. “The demand for solutions that provide for the increased speed and ensure the reliability of data transmission is constantly growing. Now the facilities of the enterprise allow producing up to 15 thousand splitters and transceivers per year. The SEZ resident status and the availability of all benefits will give the enterprise the opportunity to increase its capacity more than 10 times, up to 180 thousand optical components per year. The company has already invested about 150 million rubles in the production and is going to invest about 110 million rubles more by the end of the year, as well as create 70 new jobs”, said Alexander Prokhorov. Resident status exempts businesses from paying taxes on property, land and transport, as well as gives access to a reduced income tax rate and duty-free imports. In general, a resident can save up to 47 percent annually on taxes and other mandatory payments. “On the territory of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, the company manufactures modern optical transceivers that can be used in the largest commercial, corporate and government data centers. Their data transfer rate reaches 100 Gbps at a distance of 10 km.
