New residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will invest almost 15 billion rubles in the development of the economy

Since the beginning of 2020, 15 high-tech enterprises of the capital have received the status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. In 10 years, residents will invest almost 15 billion rubles in the development of innovative industries as informed by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations. “Now on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow there are 180 high-tech enterprises, of which 78 have resident status. For all the time, the residents of Technopolis have invested almost 32 billion rubles in the development of their own production facilities and created 6.5 thousand jobs. Since the beginning of 2020, 15 more manufacturers of oilfield service and refrigeration equipment, electronics, pharmaceuticals, cutting tools and optical equipment have joined them. In 10 years they will spend almost 15 billion rubles on the development of their own innovative industries creating 1.6 thousand jobs”, said the Vice-Mayor. The new production facilities will occupy more than 20 thousand square meters at the site in Pechatniki, as well as almost 3.5 hectares of land in Alabushevo. “Three more companies will receive resident status in the nearest future. On the territory of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow they will be engaged in the production of virtual SIM cards, medical equipment and energy efficient technologies”, informed Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow. The status of a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow allows businesses to save up to 47 percent annually on taxes and other mandatory payments. “The preferences that companies receive open access to duty-free imports, a zero rate on property and transport, and a preferential rate of profit.
