Future employees of industrial enterprises from this year will be trained using virtual reality technologies developed in the special economic zone of Moscow, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “Students of the Moscow State Educational Complex (MGOK), the Department of which is located on the territory of the capital special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, will be trained using virtual reality technologies from 2022. Within the walls of the educational institution, four innovative applications have been developed with the help of which future turners and bioengineers will be able to study on computers the operation of machines for milling or molding plastic parts, complex biochemical reactions and processes,” said Alexander Prokhorov. One of the simulators allows you to learn how to work on universal metalworking equipment. It's called CNC Milling and Turning. The other one is called "Injection molding machine" and is designed to train future operators of an injection molding machine that makes plastic parts using injection molding. Now more than a third of products from polymeric materials in the world are produced using this technology. The application teaches how to use not only the injection molding machine, but also other parts of the system. Two more applications are addressed to the innovative medical direction. Simulator "Genomic Engineering" allows you to study the technology of working with cultures of microorganisms, bioinformatics programs, as well as technologies for working with DNA. And the simulator Industrial Biotechnologies introduces the technology of preparing nutrient media, buffer and auxiliary solutions, and also provides a complete simulation of the work of a biotechnologist. “All of the above tools have been introduced into the educational process of students since 2022, and the simulators “Genomic Engineering” and “Industrial Biotechnologies” are already used in competitions in WorldSkills Russia competencies of the same name. Augmented and virtual reality improves the process of training personnel for the innovative industry, to which much attention is paid in the capital's SEZ. New educational opportunities will attract the attention of both existing enterprises and those who launch, expand their production and are interested in the influx of qualified employees,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The development of virtual and augmented reality is one of the most promising areas in 2022, while specially designed virtual worlds are in demand not only in the field of entertainment, but also in the field of education - they are necessary for teachers, schoolchildren, students, employees of industrial and military-industrial enterprises and private companies. The use of augmented reality technologies in production processes is a new trend in the activities of industrial companies in various fields, says Igor Artemyev, Director of MGOK.“Simulation programs help students and young professionals gain experience: learning about machines, technologies that exactly repeat work processes in enterprises - all this will allow you to learn the details, and then apply the knowledge in practice. In addition, it is safer than working on serious equipment without practical experience. Such technologies are the most innovative approach in the field of education. They appeared thanks to the special economic zone, close work with residents and the conditions that the Moscow SEZ created for them,” emphasized Igor Artemyev. Many projects of SEZ Technopolis Moscow are dedicated to introducing the younger generation to industrial technologies. Excursions to innovative enterprises - full-time and virtual, the work of the Technoclub, when advanced technologies are discussed in an open format, video interviews with residents of the SEZ about the professions of the future, are very popular. For those who show a special interest in working at the enterprises of the new industry in Moscow, internships are organized. So, in 2021, more than 240 students completed internships in various specialties in 20 companies of the capital's special economic zone. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
