The companies of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone will have virtual doubles thanks to a set of technological solutions that one of the Pechatniki enterprises offers to use. This will help facilitate and reduce the cost of production activities, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is a part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property-Land Relations of the capital. According to the Stereoforma project, the virtual double of an enterprise, workshop or production line allows to accurately reflect the entire production cycle, simulate fires, leaks and equipment failures, or, for example, make equipment cases transparent. Thanks to this, it is possible to practice different scenarios for training employees how to use equipment or behavior in emergency situations quickly and safely. Remote assistance technology eliminates the need for specialists to visit places and helps to save on business trip and associated costs. “An IT developer from the Moscow SEZ offered industrial companies a multi-platform solution based on augmented reality technology. As a result, the duration of production operations is reduced by about 20 percent, and the cost of maintaining equipment by a third. In the autumn of 2022, the company plans to demonstrate the experienced implementation of the solution and launch a demo project on the territory of the Moscow SEZ,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Stereoforma specializes in creating interactive multimedia projects in virtual and augmented reality, 3D scanning, 3D modeling and 3D printing of any complexity. In 2022, the company developed a virtual reality replica of the world-famous interior of the Catherine Palace's Amber Room. “The IT company, which has been located on the Pechatniki SEZ since 2014, is actively developing virtual and augmented reality technologies along with enterprises of the information and communication technology cluster, which includes 13 residents. The creation of virtual doubles and assistants to enterprises to order is a part of industrial cooperation that will help save resources in production. Domestic food manufacturers have already become interested in the development,” said Gennady Degtev, the CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
