THREE NEW BIOMEDICAL FACTORIES WILL BE LAUNCHED IN THE SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW BY THE END OF THE YEAR

By the end of 2022, three new factories for the production of biomedical products will be put into operation at the Pechatniki site of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. This was announced by the Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of Moscow, Vladislav Ovchinsky. "Companies operating in the Moscow SEZ in the biopharmaceutical industry plan to complete construction work and put three factories into operation by the end of this year. The total amount of investments in new enterprises is almost two billion rubles. The area of new production facilities will be about 200 thousand square meters. After the opening, almost 200 people will be able to work for them," Vladislav Ovchinsky said. One of the residents of the Moscow SEZ, the company "Acrus BioMed", is engaged in the development and production of biomedical cell products (BMCP). The products of the first line of BMCP are intended for the treatment of long-term non-healing injuries, ulcers and extensive burns and allow restoring the skin in a short time without scarring. A resident of the Moscow SEZ, the Mesoformula company is one of the leaders in the Russian market for the production of mesotherapy products. At the site in the Moscow SEZ, the company will develop and produce innovative drugs for injectable aesthetic medicine and professional cosmetology. The company creates its own formulations, the effectiveness of which is confirmed by tests of independent laboratories. The third factory is being launched by Vetbiochim, a manufacturer of medicines for animals. It will produce several types of safe vaccines and related drugs for pets and farm animals. The capacity of the new factory is designed to produce several tens of millions of doses of vaccines per year. Medical devices for first aid, sterilization equipment, ventilators and anesthetic-respiratory equipment, children's and adult orthopedic shoes, domestic vital drugs, including insulins, generic drugs and other innovative medical products are manufactured at the site of Pechatniki of the Moscow SEZ. "Today, 21 enterprises of medical technologies, equipment and biopharmaceutical industry have the status of a resident in the Moscow SEZ.
