THE VOLUME OF TAX BENEFITS FOR RESIDENTS OF THE SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW HAS DOUBLED

In the first three months of 2022, residents of the SEZ Technopolis saved 187 million rubles at the expense of tax benefits - this is more than double the result for the same period of 2021, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. “In the SEZ Moscow, every resident company is entitled to benefits. Such enterprises are exempt from property, transport and land taxes, customs duties. In addition, the income tax rate for them is only two percent. For the first quarter of 2022, 90 SEZ enterprises received tax benefits in the amount of 187 million rubles. This is twice as much as in the same period of 2021, when residents saved 88 million rubles, and three times higher than the result for January-March 2020: then the volume of tax support amounted to 58 million rubles,” said Vladimir Efimov. The largest part of the benefits came from taxes received by the budget of the capital. Residents of the Moscow SEZ saved 179 million rubles on them. “The largest amount of tax support in the first quarter of 2022 fell on IT companies and manufacturers of medical products - 115 million rubles. Over the entire period of work in the SEZ, 90 resident enterprises have saved more than four billion rubles,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
