The medical technology cluster of the Moscow SEZ is building up its potential: one of the residents, Inkoro [ https://inkoromed.ru/ ] company, announced plans to increase output by 50% in 2022, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “The medical device developer and manufacturer almost doubled its revenue last year. For the first three quarters of 2021, it amounted to more than 36 million rubles. During the year, the company produced more than 20 thousand products, supplying them to all federal districts of Russia. This year, the resident will increase production by 50 percent by equipping production lines for new products. The investment project of the resident provides for investments in the amount of 40.6 million rubles,” said Alexander Prokhorov. An enterprise specializing in the production of consumables for urology localized production in SEZ Technopolis Moscow in 2017, and in 2019 Inkoro company received the status of a resident, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “At the moment, the announced investment program has already been completed by 95 percent. Preferences of SEZ Technopolis Moscow have a positive effect on the pace of production development. The enterprise has a customs control zone that allows you to use customs benefits - zero customs duty and zero VAT rate, a comfortable business environment has been created and a preferential tax regime is in place,” said Gennady Degtev. Plans to expand production are connected with the launch of two new types of products, now they are being registered with Roszdravnadzor, Andrey Kondratyev, General Director of Inkoro, clarified. “For new products, including catheters and urological conductors, special equipment is purchased for existing equipment, which will allow us to master new areas in the existing production. In addition, last year another product was already registered - a stone extractor. The company is maximally focused on import substitution. The company's products are produced under the Russian brand Yule, last year it received a certificate of Russian origin of goods with a share of foreign components of no more than 15 percent. I am sure that the new directions will significantly increase the volume of products manufactured in 2022, as well as create additional jobs,” Andrey Kondratyev said. In total, in the first three quarters of 2021, residents of the medical technology cluster of the Moscow SEZ invested more than 13 billion rubles in the creation and development of their production facilities.
