The resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow has established serial production of high-quality elevator winches

Serial production of high-quality elevator winches was established by the scientific and technical center Privodnaya Tekhnika (Drive Technique), located at the site Pechatniki of the special economic zone of Moscow. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow. "A company from the capital's SEZ has launched mass production of elevator winches. The capacity of the enterprise allows to produce up to a thousand units of products annually. This development is aimed at import substitution of the most important elevator equipment. Against the background of the departure of European suppliers, domestic elevator-building enterprises need high-quality analogues of Russian production. First of all, this concerns the mass housing segment," Vladislav Ovchinsky added. The winch is one of the key devices in the elevator design. It directly affects the smoothness of the cab, noise level and power consumption. The basis of the development of the scientific and technical center is an electric drive. Thanks to this, the elevator winch is twice as light and quieter than analogues, has high wear resistance, does not require oil change and takes up less space in the engine room. "The demand for such products is growing as the elevator industry is being modernized. The availability of a ready-made solution for the industry creates conditions for the intensification of work in this direction. The company has sufficient potential to provide Russian elevator companies with high–quality winches," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
