The production of inspection equipment will be localized in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow

The enterprise Diagnostics-M LLC will invest RUR 267 million in the production of innovative search and inspection and X-ray equipment in SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The manufacturing site will appear in Alabushevo in the fourth quarter of 2020, informed Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow. The company produces introscopes, fixed and mobile inspection complexes, special equipment for cargo inspection and revealing of dangerous and banned items and substances as well as medical apparatus based on X-ray radiation. The equipment of the company is applied to ensure security for transport, for customs control and also at the strategic objects and checkpoints of public places. Last year Diagnostics-M gained the status of a resident company of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. “The status of a resident company of Technopolis gives the opportunity to avail of preferences and tax exemptions, to reduce the prime cost of the products and to create a competitive advantage over the domestic and foreign producers. The manufacturing will occupy more 10 thousand square meters and include a customs control post and inspection area as well as a building of 1.6 thousand square meters. Total investments up to 2029 will reach RUR 267 million. It is anticipated to reach the project capacity by the beginning of the next year”, clarified Alexander Prokhorov. Being a resident company of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Diagnostics-M will be able to save up to 47% of taxes and other compulsory payments and allocate the emerging money to extra research and development work. “The resident company plans to create 153 working places and to get total revenue of RUR 8.6 billion in the next ten years”, specified Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
