THE PRODUCTION OF 15 RESIDENTS OF THE TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW SEZ HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLED

Fifteen resident companies of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" showed a double growth in production in 2021. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. "The annual production of resident companies of the capital's special economic zone have grown significantly over the past year. Thus, 15 residents in 2021 compared to the previous year, the output increased by a multiple, at least twice, and reached a total of 4.8 billion rubles. Among them are representatives of the microelectronics and pharmaceuticals industries, manufacturers of information and communication equipment and software," the Head of the Department said. He also noted that in total, residents of the Moscow SEZ, of which there are about 90, produced high-tech products by almost 29 billion rubles in 2021, and each of them increased their production capacities and product supplies in different volumes. At nine enterprises of the SEZ of Moscow, annual production volumes increased two or three times, and at six enterprises — fourfold or more times. "The largest share among the rapidly growing companies was occupied by residents of the microelectronics cluster, five enterprises of which produced products in the amount of more than 2.8 billion rubles during the year," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the capital's SEZ. Most of these companies place their production at the site "Pehatniki" of the special economic zone of the capital.
