The new resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will invest 80 million rubles in the development of the production of composites

The manufacturer of products made of composite materials Research and Production Association "Composite" received the status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow. The enterprise, located at the site of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow in Pechatniki, develops and produces composite parts for the automotive industry. “NPO Composite has been located at the site in Pechatniki since mid-2019 and produces more than 2,000 composite parts per year. By 2024, the design capacity of the company will allow the production of more than eight thousand such products annually. The total investment for the next 10 years will be more than 80 million rubles”, specified the Head of the Department. The status of a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow enables enterprises to save up to 47% annually on taxes and other mandatory payments. The benefits received by the company open up access to duty-free imports, a zero rate on property and transport, as well as a preferential rate of profit. “The company carries out all stages of work - from the design of a composite product to its manufacture. The final products are supplied to the regions of Russia, as well as exported to the CIS countries and to non-CIS markets”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Localization on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow allows the company to cooperate with the largest manufacturers of composites said Mikhail Filimonov, CEO of NPO Composite. “Today, the use of composite materials in the automotive industry is the main trend in the global market. The weight of composite parts is 80% less than that of similar metal products, while in terms of strength they significantly exceed them, and the service life is several times longer. Localization of production of NPO Composite on the territory of the capital's SEZ makes it possible to expand the share of domestic products in the world market through interaction with other similar enterprises of Technopolis - NCC and Umatex.
