The Additive Engineering company, which opened production at the site in Pechatniki at the beginning of this year, has received the status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. Until 2029, the company's total investment in the development of the production of 3D products will be about 100 million rubles, as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow. Products printed on a 3D printer can be used in a variety of fields, from the automotive and foundry industries to aerospace and medicine. “The company now prints about 170 thousand cubic centimeters of 3D products per month. The SEZ resident status and the availability of all benefits will give the company the opportunity to increase its capacity by almost 180 times, up to 30 million cubic centimeters per year. The company has already invested over 50 million rubles in the project and plans to invest about 45 million more by 2029, as well as create 40 new jobs”, said the Head of the Department. Resident status gives businesses the opportunity to save up to 47 percent annually on taxes and other mandatory payments. Among the benefits - a zero rate of property tax, reduced income tax and duty-free imports. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow in the next 10 years, the company plans to occupy almost 5 percent of the Russian market of additive technologies. “The company has been located at the site in Pechatniki since the beginning of 2020 and covers an area of about 700 square meters. During the pandemic, the company promptly modified production. The company launched the manufacture of valves for ventilators printed on a 3D printer and supplied them to medical institutions in the city. Potential customers of products are state corporations, concerns, commercial and industrial enterprises and leading universities in Russia and the CIS”, specified Gennady Degtev. The company produces printed products from various materials: polymer, plastic, wax, ceramics and metal, said Ashkhen Ovsepyan, CEO of Additive Engineering company. “Industrial enterprises are increasingly using 3D printing in the production of components and work tools. Our company uses seven types of production technologies, differing in the methods of application. In some cases, 3D printed components are significantly cheaper than traditional ones. Also, due to the possibility of manufacturing a product of any complexity and high-speed printing with extreme accuracy, the production time is significantly reduced”, she clarified. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
