The company, which localized production on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, was one of the first in the world to perform tuning of the latest Ferrari SF90 model with carbon components. This was announced by the CEO of the special economic zone of Moscow Gennady Degtev. A resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special economic Zone, NPO Composite cooperates with dealerships and equips cars of premium brands. So, he made carbon exterior and engine compartment details for the Ferrari SF90, including bumper elements, door sills, diffuser, engine trim. "The resident's competencies allow us to develop solutions using composite materials, provide services for the design and production of small and large series of products. The company has been implementing an investment project in the SEZ of Moscow since 2020, it is planned to invest more than 80 million rubles in the development of production," said Gennady Degtev. As noted in the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, the creation of parts specifically for Ferrari was launched by NPO Composite in the SEZ of Moscow in April 2021 and plans to increase capacity in the future. In June 2022, it opened a free customs zone, thanks to which it will be able to import foreign equipment, components, raw materials, components on preferential terms. The company has already received a high-precision milling machine, which will allow to put production on a serial flow. The company conducts tuning under the brand Carbon.pro the industry's top method of baking prepregs in an autoclave. A resident of the SEZ of Moscow is the only one in Russia who works on this technology. Composite parts made in this way are much stronger and lighter than analogues. According to the company, it considers today's activity in the automotive market as an intermediate stage in order to occupy its niche in the aerospace industry, therefore, it reinvests all profits in the development of production. In particular, by purchasing equipment similar to the enterprises of Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Bzeing and Airbus. "The technology used by NPO Composite is used by individual companies in the global automotive industry, including ours. We will improve an average of 15 premium cars per month. The company's specialists produce about 400 composite parts every month, including aerodynamic body kits, bumpers, spoilers and other elements of external tuning that can compete and even surpass the world-famous tuning studios in quality. When working with the exterior of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, it was possible to avoid aggressive design, factory parts made of structural plastic were replaced with carbon," said Mikhail Filimonov, CEO of the company.
