The head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the developments of the enterprises of SEZ Technopolis Moscow

In 2022 the Fund to Promote Innovations rendered financial support to 3.7 thousand Russian high-tech projects. They received grants, among others, as part of the national project Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative, which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. We are talking about science-intensive developments of students, young scientists and small businesses. It was declared by the Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov at session of the Supervisory board of Fund which has passed on a platform of a Special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. "We stake, including on small innovative entrepreneurship. For the support of the sector we have created the Fund for Innovation Assistance. Last year, it supported more than 2 thousand projects of students and young innovators. It also supported over 1.5 thousand small companies, which is almost 20% more than a year before," the Minister noted. More than a half of the supported projects are young scientists under the program UMNIK and Student Startup. The last one appeared in the Fund in 2022 and is realized within the framework of the federal project Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship, which is supervised by vice-premier Dmitry Chernyshenko. Students and postgraduate students can take part in it, whose projects are developed on the basis of their own scientific and technical and scientific-technological research and have commercialization potential. As of today 1 thousand winners were selected, each of whom received a grant in the amount of 1 million rubles, created their own enterprise and began testing their ideas in practice. Under the most massive program, Start, the Foundation supported more than 600 projects. Not only legal entities may take part in it - a beginning entrepreneur may submit an application as an individual and create his own company after winning the contest. Over the last three years alone, the winners have created more than 3 thousand jobs and registered 1.8 thousand intellectual property objects. "The Fund has financed companies with experience in selling knowledge-intensive products to the amount of 6 billion rubles. Thanks to grants under the program Commercialization they managed to expand production of innovative products, including for the tasks of big business. Hundreds of production facilities have been launched and modernized across the country, and thousands of jobs have been created. This measure of support is very popular, it allows to stimulate import substitution in almost all spheres and gives a huge economic effect," said Sergey Polyakov, General Director of the Foundation. Grantees sell products in completely different areas: food industry, agricultural engineering, refrigeration equipment for large shopping centers, laser machines for metal cutting, CNC metal processing machines, unique medical equipment and much more. As part of the national program Digital Economy of the Russian Federation, the Fund implements a number of support tools for two federal projects. Applicants can receive support at all stages: from the development of digital solutions and products in the field of artificial intelligence. This work has resulted in the creation of quite a large list of products, digital solutions that have successfully replaced products of Western companies that have left the market. "About 20 projects of the enterprises of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow are currently supported by the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations. Thanks to this support, it was possible to expand the production infrastructure and create technological opportunities for the launch of a number of promising innovative products, a number of which have no domestic analogues in the Russian Federation. Among them - visual and audible system of orientation in space for the blind and visually impaired, intelligent platforms to automate the procedure of ordering parts and assess the parameters and recommendations for clothing on 3D-scans of consumers, medical equipment for emergency help, pharmaceuticals and more," - said the general director of Technopolis Moscow Gennady Dyogtev. Also at the meeting was discussed the support of unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic component base. The Chairman of the Geoscan Group Alexey Semenov noted that his company was supported by the Fund at an early stage of development and has already paid 2 billion dollars in taxes, which repeatedly paid off the state support. Today it is one of the three world leaders in the field of drones, and the company's products are sold in more than 100 countries. Speaking about the development of the radio electronics industry, Sergey Polyakov noted that over the past 9 years the Fund has financed 1.8 thousand companies to the amount of 3.3 billion rubles, while the total revenue of these companies exceeded 12 billion rubles. Given the importance of this industry, it was proposed at the meeting to consider launching a comprehensive program to restore and develop the technological independence of the domestic microelectronics industry by involving young scientists and small businesses in specific tasks. Oleg Mashinin, General Director of LLC "BUTIS", commenting the importance of the development of the microelectronic industry told that his company used the grant money to develop and put into series production a surface acoustic wave filter for GLONASS/GPS navigation systems, which has no analogues abroad. This improved the temperature stability by more than two times and allowed to solve the problem of suppression of the nearby interference from the satellite and other radio communication systems, which provided a cleaner spectrum of the output radio-frequency signal of the modern navigation and communication equipment. The results were confirmed by tests as part of navigation equipment manufactured by Russian enterprises. The development has been completed in 2022 and is planned to be used in Russian navigation systems. The meeting of the Supervisory Board ended with the visit to the several enterprises which production is placed on the territory of the Special Economic Zone Technopolis Moscow. Maxim Reshetnikov was shown the products of the companies Biforkom Tech, which has the status of a Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident. The Moscow-based company was created in 2015 and produces a family of small form-factor computers, routers, antennas and other communication devices that are used to organize the work of remote offices, ATMs, to monitor and manage enterprise systems. These products are used by leading communication operators, energy and financial institutions. In 2023, the company launched its own production of 5G+ wireless routers. Last week, the government approved the Technological Development Concept up to 2030. The document was developed on the instructions of the President Vladimir Putin, which he gave in September 2022 following a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. The main task of the Concept was outlined by the Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin - ensuring technological sovereignty through the introduction of cross-cutting and critical developments of domestic production into the economy. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Kolesnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Shpak, Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry Dmitry Nikitin, Director of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Ministry of Education and Science Oleg Churilov and representatives of fast-growing high-tech companies also took part in the meeting. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
