Residents of the special economic zone «Technopolis Moscow», scientists of the National Research University «Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering» (NRU MIEE) and invited experts in microelectronics during TechnoClub discussed the state of the industry. This was reported by General Director of SEZ «Technopolis Moscow» Gennady Dyogtev. «The special economic zone of Moscow – is the place of concentration of the leading microelectronic enterprises of the capital, at the moment the number of residents includes 33 such enterprises. NRU MIEE – is one of the main suppliers of highly qualified personnel for this industry in general and for SEZ Moscow in particular. It is logical, that TechnoClub SEZ «Technopolis Moscow», organized together with NRU MIEE, has become a platform, where industry leaders formulate tasks for the development of human resources and the creation of new production chains of microelectronics», – said Gennady Dyogtev. The event marks the start of the new season of TechnoClubs in the SEZ Moscow, focused on those, who work in the field of microelectronics, looking for answers to global challenges and interested in high technology. The speakers were the representatives of NRU MIEE, group of companies «Micron», Zelenograd nanotechnology center, «Stratonanotek» and other organizations. In addition to the features of broad cooperation for the restoration and creation of microelectronics production chains, the meeting discussed the scientific, human and infrastructure potential of sectoral universities. The meeting showed that for the development of the full-cycle of microelectronics production in Russia is important a number of intellectual, technological and managerial competencies: from knowledge of natural and exact sciences – to jurisprudence and entrepreneurship. Employers can give recommendations on them, and universities can ensure the development of these competencies. The moderator of the meeting, Deputy Director of the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies of the NRU MIEE Alexey Dronov noted, that now the domestic microelectronic industry has an ambitious goal – to ensure technological sovereignty. Therefore, the development vector has shifted to the creation of new productions of electronic engineering and training of personnel for the industry. «On the way to the technological confidence, the driving force of microelectronics should be the use of all opportunities and mechanisms of cooperation in Russia and friendly countries. Above all, it is a realistic, coherent and comprehensive plan of action. Discussion platforms, such as TechnoClub, allow to look at emerging challenges and jointly develop a detailed action plan, find like-minded people to promote specific initiatives», – said Alexey Dronov. Industry consortia of domestic microelectronics were also discussed during the meeting. Among other things, they can be created in cooperation with friendly countries – such cooperation can increase competitiveness and increase the market. The site of TechnoClub – SEZ «Technopolis Moscow» – for the third year has become a place of open discussions on topical issues of science and technology with the participation of leading experts.
