The first set for training in additive technologies in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has been announced

The first enrollment to study Additive Technologies including 3D printing will start at the beginning of the next school year on the basis of Moscow State Educational Complex in the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. Basic general education (9 grades) is necessary, training term is 3 years and 10 months. The first enrollment implies 25 places for in-class state-funded training. The location is in college premises on Vishneva Street and at the basic academic chair of Moscow State Educational Complex in SEZ Technopolis Moscow with the possibility to practice in resident companies of SEZ involved in 3D printing. “More than ten companies of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow are engaged in additive technologies. The advantages of 3D-technology were also revealed during the fight against COVID-19. It is not expensive to modify the production. All you need is precise technical enquiry and 3D models proving that the future is with additive technologies”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Igor Artemyev, Director of Moscow State Educational Complex believes that there is lack of experts in 3D printing. “Additive technologies all around the world have proved their long-term benefits, and in Russia they are also rapidly becoming demanded. The graduates will work in computer design, operation and service of additive equipment, finishing-out the objects with computer-controlled machines”, added Artemyev. The basic academic chair of Moscow State Educational Complex in SEZ Technopolis Moscow has already trained students in Engineering technologies, Information technologies, Operation of unmanned aerial vehicle systems as well as in Pharmaceutical science, Geodesics and other professions for two years. More than 70 students of high-tech professions have been educated.
