A resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, the Research Institute (SRI) of Molecular Electronics - NIIME (part of the Element group of companies), has opened a world-class physicochemical analytical laboratory to conduct research in the field of quality control of technological media as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The tasks of the laboratory include the analysis of various media - liquids, gases, chemical reagents used in technological processes - for the content of impurities in them in an extremely low concentration, which can affect the quality of finished products. Such impurities can only be detected by high-precision equipment. Such research is necessary to support the microelectronic, pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnological, and nuclear industries. The materials under study are of strategic importance for the operation of these industries; the possibility of producing high-tech products depends on their selection. “There are few such laboratories in the world, in Europe - no more than two or three. The laboratory opened in SEZ Technopolis Moscow is the first of this research level in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe, which analyzes raw materials for the needs of development and production. Its work will greatly support to enterprises of the domestic industry, enabling a quicker complex research without sending samples abroad, ensuring proper quality while saving time and resources ”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. The laboratory is located in clean production rooms with purity classes 5-7 ISO and is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and modern analytical equipment: an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, an atomic absorption spectrometer with a graphite shock absorber, ion chromatographs, automatic titrators , chromatomass spectrometers, a system purification of acids, installation of additional purification of deionized water. The laboratory has successfully passed the audits of the Federal Accreditation Agency and confirmed its compliance with the requirements of the international standard. Enterprises in the industry can already use the resources of the laboratory to determine the quality of raw materials for the needs of their enterprises and conduct research in the framework of new developments. The resident of the special economic zone - Research Institute of Molecular Electronics - creates a scientific basis for the work of many microelectronics manufacturers in the SEZ of the stressed capital Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The new laboratory employs highly qualified specialists - graduates of the Russian Chemical Technical University named after D.I. Mendeleev, Moscow State University, M.V. Lomonosov MITHT and other universities, which share their experience in using modern analytical equipment. The personnel and technological potential of NIIME contributes to the advanced developments, while the conditions of the special economic zone ensure a more efficient implementation of new solutions in production ”, said Gennady Degtev. The laboratory has already developed more than 60 of its own methods, according to which analyzes of almost all media and chemical reagents are run. Also, laboratory staff draws up relevant technical requirements and recommendations and conduct certification. “As part of import substitution program, our laboratory participates in all R&D works to create chemical reagents of the required quality in terms of developing methods for analyzing the quality of high-purity materials, - said the founder of the laboratory, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemistry Boris Gribov. Today, in fact, we are creating national methods for the analysis of high-purity chemical reagents and media, which can claim new Russian quality standards for materials for production ”. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
