The first building of the electronics innovation centre was put into operation on the territory of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. It was built on the site of MIET, located in Zelenograd. It will set up full-cycle production for mass production of electronic modules and radioelectronic equipment. As part of the first phase, a five-storey building with a total area of 5.5 thousand square metres has been commissioned. It is equipped with workshops for experimental and pilot production, which will provide JSC "Zelenograd Innovation and Technology Centre", one of the first residents of the capital SEZ, and the developers of NRU MIET with a production base. Thus, they will be able to develop and implement new technological solutions more quickly. The developer has received all the necessary permits to put the facility into operation, said Igor Voistratenko, Chairman of the Moscow City Construction Supervision Authority. Thanks to the project, the city will have new jobs and a production site for the development of science and technology in the field of information and control, communication, location and biomedical systems. This is especially important in the context of import substitution, added Igor Voystratenko. The building was built in the Staroye Kryukovo district in Solnechnaya Alley, 10, building 2, block 1. It is located behind the academic buildings of MIET near a wooded area that falls within the boundaries of a special economic zone. The architectural design continues the theme of the surrounding industrial estate. The fa?ade of the monolithic building is clad in red clinker brick and fibre cement panels, and double-glazed windows in aluminium profile have been installed for the stained-glass windows and windows, said Igor Voistratenko. Each floor has administrative offices and development departments, organised according to the open space principle. Lifts with a capacity of 1000 and 3200 kilograms have been installed in the building. The area around the building has been landscaped and 26 parking spaces have been provided in the open car park. An additional 52 parking spaces will be created in the second stage of construction. Vehicles will enter here via Sunny Alley through the university campus. On the basis of the new space developers will master technology for the production of printed circuit boards of the fifth precision class, automated surface mounting of components, automated local soldering of lead elements. They will also set up mass production of microwave electronics with carrier frequencies of over 40 gigahertz. The new production infrastructure of the "MIET" site of Moscow SEZ will make it possible to produce high-tech products, as well as to provide services for the production of printed circuit boards, metal processing, assembly and adjustment of electronic units and blocks, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow. The Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee pays special attention to the quality of work on the capital's industrial infrastructure facilities. Throughout all stages of construction of the innovation centre in Zelenograd inspectors have carried out about two dozens of on-site inspections, including with the participation of specialists of the subordinate Center of expertise, who conducted a complex of instrumental and laboratory tests for compliance of works and applied materials with the project documentation, - added Igor Voistratenko. The 11-storey administrative building of the centre with a total area of 20,6 thousand square metres is already under construction on the MIET site. It will be commissioned at the second stage. Now reinforced concrete constructions of the sixth floor are being erected on the site. The building will house a technology transfer centre, basic research laboratories and engineering companies. In addition, graduates of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology will be trained there. Construction is planned for completion in autumn 2024. The total area of the innovation centre, which is located next to the historic buildings of the National Research University, will be more than 26,000 square metres. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
