The enterprise of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow provided the infectious diseases hospital in New Moscow with electrical equipment

ABB - a company of special economic zone Technopolis Moscow has been involved in the development and approval of technical works for electricity supply and has organized complex delivery of electrical facilities to the new infectious hospital in Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts. “The companies of the capital city actively participated in the construction of the medical center for COVID-19 infected patients in New Moscow. The manufacturers rapidly provided the hospital with necessary materials and equipment from concrete structures to waste treatment facilities. For example the company АВВ has delivered components for switchboards. This allowed to complete the assembly and commissioning works at the crucial social object on time and ensure the safe and uninterrupted power supply”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow. The high-tech companies of the capital city special economic zone have steadily joint the fight against the virus spread, informed Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The company АВВ has supplied to the infectious center in Voronovskoe settlement the low-voltage installation to equip 33 input switching devices. Two more enterprises from the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow have also assisted in the equipment of this new healthcare center. 442 systems for medical gas supply and two devices for disinfection of biologically dangerous effluents were delivered”, added Gennady Degtev. The low-voltage installation is based on the advanced and safe ABB automatic cutouts of Tmax, Тмах ХТ series and reverse ОТМ load breaks which can be applied both manually and remotely. “ABB is proud to be involved in the construction of the infectious hospital in New Moscow. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. We have taken efforts to ensure the safety for our staff who helped to implement this project most quickly in the context of remote work”, underlined Alexander Prudnikov, Head of Electric Equipment block of ABB Russia. The new infectious hospital in Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts accepted the first patients on April 20, 2020. The patient capacity of the center is 800 beds with the possibility to extend up to 900 beds and to transform each of them into intensive care beds. The construction has involved more than 300 companies.
