The enterprise of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow has increased the production of ventilators by 40% since the beginning of the year

From January to September, the Chirana + enterprise operating on the territory of the Moscow special economic zone Technopolis Moscow supplied 106 artificial lung ventilation devices to Russian medical institutions as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Many residents and tenants of the SEZ have focused on producing the products necessary to fight the pandemic. For example, the company Chirana + in the first nine months of 2020 delivered 130 pieces of equipment to medical institutions of Russia, including 106 ventilators and 24 anesthesia and respiratory devices. In October 46 more ventilators were sent to the regions of the country, nine of which are intended for children's clinical hospitals”, said Gennady Degtev. He noted that in the situation of combating Covid-19, doctors often have to master new equipment in a short time. To help doctors, Chirana + launched the production of breathing simulators in August for teaching how to work on ventilators. In September, 100 breathing lung models were sent to Russian hospitals. “Simulators enable doctors, among other things, to design the setting of ventilators for patients with different severity of lung damage. In October, 10 such devices are sent to Uzbekistan”, pointed out Vasily Shimko, CEO of the company Chirana +.
