The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia summarized the results of the country's special economic zones (SEZ) for 2022 in its report. SEZ of technology innovation type Technopolis Moscow was recognized as a leader in terms of efficiency, the number of jobs created and the amount of taxes paid to the state budget. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. "Ready-made modern infrastructure, comfortable public environment, cluster approach to the development of high-tech industry, which enhances the synergistic effect and healthy competition of manufacturers, government support measures - all this ensures the success of the capital's SEZ. According to the results of the report of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on the work of special economic zones of the country, the efficiency of SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" is estimated at one hundred percent. Also the special economic zone of the capital takes the first place by the number of created jobs - today there are 2095 of them. Another indicator is the volume of taxes paid to the state budget, which exceeds 10.1 billion rubles", - said Vladimir Efimov. In terms of taxes paid to the Russian budget system, the leaders of SEZs also include St. Petersburg, Istok (Moscow Region), Alabuga (Tatarstan) and Lipetsk (Lipetsk Region). In addition, as noted in the report of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, in 2022 the capital's SEZ took one of the leading positions in terms of the volume of realized investments, which amounted to 31.8 billion rubles. Alabuga and Innopolis from the Republic of Tatarstan, Ivanovo, Titanium Valley from the Sverdlovsk region, Dubna from the Moscow region and St. Petersburg were named among the leaders of the SEZ of technology innovation type in terms of open jobs. "The largest number of jobs - about 1.2 thousand - in the capital's special economic zone has been opened at the enterprises of the photonics and microelectronics cluster. This is one of the most promising and key areas in the domestic economy," emphasized Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia annually analyzes the activities of special economic zones of the country in accordance with the rules for assessing the effectiveness of SEZ functioning, approved by the Decree of the Government of Russia. In the report for 2022, which has already been sent to the Cabinet of Ministers, the indicators of the special economic zone of Moscow are noted. As specified by Gennady Degtev, Director General of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the organization of favorable conditions for the implementation of business tasks in special economic zones is the key factor attracting investors. SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" offers a comprehensive, functional solution that allows to realize the priority strategies of the capital's industry development and achievement of technological sovereignty. According to the assessment of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the country's SEZs are demonstrating a positive pace of work. Last year they invested more than 196 billion rubles. This is 31% more than in 2021 and 2.5 times more than in 2020. At the end of 2022, more than 12 thousand new jobs were created, which is 18% more than in 2021. "These growth dynamics show that SEZs continue to be points of attraction for investment in the regions and stimulate economic activity. Businesses come to SEZs for stable conditions and developed infrastructure, and the 2022 results, in this sense, speak for themselves.
