Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident took part in the repair of the oldest bridge in Vladivostok
Carbon fiber-based composite materials of Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ), were used in the reconstruction of Vladivostok's oldest bridge. Their application allowed to reduce repair costs and to carry it out in a short time. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. "The products of the Nanotechnological center of composites are widely used at reconstruction of various socially significant objects, construction and repair of roads. Today the company supplies its production to 60 regions of the country. The application of such materials allows to carry out the works without stopping the operation of buildings and constructions in short terms and with the costs 15-20% lower, in comparison with the cost of traditional methods of repair and strengthening. Recently the company supplied composite railings and materials for the reconstruction of one of the oldest bridges in Vladivostok", - Vladislav Ovchinsky noted. The Kazan bridge in Vladivostok, which was built in 1928, is famous for being the first all-metal welded pontoon in the USSR. Today it is covered with concrete. The bridge passes over the railroad and connects the Shkota Peninsula, where the port is located, with the center of Vladivostok. A huge flow of heavy trucks passes over it every day. "During the reconstruction, the spans of the Kazansky Bridge were reinforced with CarbonWrap external reinforcement system materials. This technology, designed to reinforce concrete, reinforced concrete, steel structures with carbon fiber materials, does not require the use of bulky machinery or special equipment. Composite railings are installed on the bridge itself", - explained the Head of the Sales Department of the company Evgeniy Rafailov. The materials of the CarbonWrap system produced by the resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow are successfully used on other objects of Primorye: in Nakhodka and Vladivostok the reinforced concrete structures of residential buildings are restored with their help. "The company's production complex has 13 workshops and occupies an area of over 12 thousand square meters," said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the capital's special economic zone. ___________________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
