Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ), is implementing a project to introduce artificial intelligence into artificial lung ventilation (ALV) machines, which will collect a detailed clinical picture of the patient's condition and select a personalized algorithm of his support on ALV. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. "The city provides comprehensive support to the capital's industrialists, including manufacturers of medical equipment. Hirana+ in 2020 received the status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, which gives a number of benefits. Earlier this year, Moscow provided the company with a loan of 200 million rubles for the development of export activities. Today, the company offers modern, innovative solutions for the medical industry. For example, together with the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI on the order of the State Corporation Rosatom, a resident of the capital's SEZ is working on a project to implement artificial intelligence in ventilators," said Vladimir Efimov. The intelligent complex will continuously and automatically select optimal modes in changing conditions of lung ventilation, taking into account the current state of the patient. Highly accurate monitoring and analysis of a wide range of indicators, their clear interpretation for making medical decisions in real time will greatly increase the effectiveness of treatment and survival rate of severe patients. "Every year the company produces more than 400 units of medical equipment. The localization of the company's products reaches 70-100 percent. Recently, the company has started to develop Russia's first working prototype of a turbine-powered ventilator - equipment of expert level of interaction with patients, including newborns weighing from 500 grams," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. Ventilators are widely used in everyday medicine, but most of them do not have the ability to automatically select ventilation parameters depending on the severity of the patient's condition. Significant efforts are required from medical personnel to monitor the patient's vital signs and readjust the medical equipment to match them. As Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, specified, the company acts as an integrator in the project to introduce AI in the practice of monitoring and controlling the process of artificial lung ventilation. "The intelligent complex is a monoblock functionally connected with the ventilator system. The new hardware add-on integrated into the ventilator will help the doctor make decisions and interpret results, make predictions based on extremely accurate data. The module will also be able to automatically set and adjust the parameters of ventilator support. Our task is to combine the software system with medical equipment, which will turn even a simple ventilator with basic characteristics into an expert-class technique that has no analogues in the world. Along with highly qualified specialists in the field of mathematical analysis, software and design solutions, the leading medical professionals of the country are also involved in the work," summarized Vasily Shimko, General Director of the company. ___________________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
