Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident signed an agreement on testing and implementation of domestic microchips in the capital's ATMs

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow company Mikron and the capital's enterprise SAGA have signed an agreement on testing and implementation of domestic microchips and microcontroller MIK32 Amur in self-service devices - Russian ATMs SAGA S-200 ATM with the function of money recycling. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. "A resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow company Micron and Moscow corporation "SAGA" have concluded an agreement on long-term cooperation. The companies will engage in joint testing and implementation of the domestic microcontroller MIK32 Amur and other serial microcircuits of Mikron in domestic ATMs SAGA S-200 ATM with money recycling function", - said Vladimir Efimov. The ATM has been included in the register of industrial products manufactured in the territory of the Russian Federation and has already been successfully operated by financial organizations. "Moscow industry has been working on achieving technological sovereignty for not the first year. Many key products and components are already manufactured in the capital and have completely replaced imported analogs. For example, Mikron's Amur microcontroller is already being tested today for use in automation systems, medical equipment, on-board devices, telecom, the Internet of Things, and robotics to replace foreign analogs. In turn, since 2006, SAGA Corporation has developed several hundred different devices, many of which are patented. The leading development of the company was a domestic ATM with the function of money recycling", - said the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky. As Andrey Zholobov, General Director of SAGA Technologies JSC, noted, the domestic ATM SAGA S-200 ATM is an important step towards ensuring technological sovereignty of the banking sector. The company plans not only to use Mikron's serial products, but also to implement future developments in new product lines. "In import substitution, it is important to localize the entire chain down to the level of microchips. SAGA and I are already testing the MIK32 Amur microcontroller for use in a new domestic ATM, and we are also preparing to test a number of interface chips and power management chips. Our common task is to provide the country with fully import-independent devices of mass application," said Gulnara Khasyanova, General Director of Mikron JSC. Moscow actively supports enterprises working in research, development and production of high-tech import-substituting products. For them there are support measures, educational programs, technological competitions, platforms for testing innovations, technoparks and industrial clusters. Metropolitan enterprises can take advantage of more than 20 systemic support measures of the city, including subsidies and targeted loans. In addition, a number of anti-crisis tools have been developed. _______________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
