Resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" company - manufacturer of plastic containers Legoplast has expanded the line of goods with new categories and increased the volume of production of its products in 2.2 times. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. "Compared to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the company in the second quarter increased production volumes more than twice - by 122%. The company expanded the range of goods with boxes and containers with the service of individual branding. The increase in the list of products to be sold, growing demand for them from domestic manufacturers, logistics, pharmaceutical and other companies, as well as a number of new major projects allowed the resident to scale production. In real numbers, the volume grew from one thousand units in the first quarter of the year to 2.2 thousand in the second quarter. The key factor was the use of new equipment and automated systems at the company," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The company implements an innovative approach to industrial production - it applies the model of closed cycle economy, which implies maximum involvement of secondary resources in production and minimization of negative impact on nature. It also applies the principles of ESG-transformation of production and builds its development strategy in accordance with them. "The company's production capacity allows it to produce more than 400 thousand units per year. Customer-oriented production, which has noticeably increased after the company started implementing a number of major projects, is combined with the benefits that the SEZ Technopolis Moscow provides to residents. These conditions allow the company to produce competitive products and offer the most favorable terms of cooperation to its customers," said Gennady Dyogtev, General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Today the company offers a wide range of reusable plastic products made of recycled raw materials, which allow storing and transporting almost everything from foodstuffs to chemicals. The innovative plastic pallets produced by the company have improved geometry and their design is patented. The company develops new designs of plastic products for different companies according to their needs for a particular model of containers. "The company notes that the growth of production volumes in the current quarter is justified by competent strategic planning and intensive work of the team. The enterprise also develops industrial cooperation and partnership with other companies within the SEZ of the capital. Within the framework of cooperation, the company's products were supplied to TZMOI, Velpharm M, Innotech and other companies. And within the framework of agreements with the company "Lassard", also located in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, the company supplied a batch of pallets in the color scheme corresponding to the colors of the customer company. SEZ Technopolis Moscow is a territory with a special legal status, which offers a favorable business regime for investors. More than 200 high-tech enterprises are localized here, of which about 90 have resident status, which allows them to receive significant benefits.
