For these purposes, the company, which independently develops and produces orthopedic shoes, employs five specialists also engaged in scientific activities. Medical division of the company is equipped with modern diagnostic equipment to determine the level of foot deformation and musculoskeletal system disorders. The General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Dyogtev told about it. Today telemedicine, which combines healthcare and digital technologies, makes a great contribution to improving the quality of medical care and increasing the life expectancy of patients. "Telemedicine solutions allow to create comfortable and safe living conditions for people: quickly monitor changes in the body, prevent complications or critical situations, provide access to high-class specialists of leading clinics, save on transportation costs. Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident, whose products are designed for people with musculoskeletal disorders, uses telemedicine technology to provide consultations on the selection of therapeutic shoes for residents of the capital and Russian regions. This saves patients with mobility difficulties from visiting an orthopedic doctor and orthopedic shoe salons in person. The company produces 30,000 pairs per year of personalized shoes according to individual measurements and medical appointments of the client. The products previously demanded mainly in the capital and near Moscow, with the introduction of telemedicine, are delivered to more than 40 regions of the country", - explained Gennady Dyogtev. Orthomoda is known on the Russian and international markets for being at the intersection of medicine, rehabilitation, light industry, and IT technologies. The first models of footwear for diabetics were developed by the company together with the Endocrinology Research Center of RAMS. Since then, Orthomoda has been continuously involved in medical research, introducing a research group and a design laboratory into its production. Since April 2023, the company has launched telemedicine services for its customers, most of whom are people with disabilities. Consultations on the selection of therapeutic shoes, diagnoses, and medical prescriptions are provided via video link through Orthomoda's website. During this time about 100 people used the telemedicine services. Orthomoda employs five orthopedic specialists, including three orthopedic doctors who are involved in scientific activities and conduct online appointments with patients. The company, which is equipped with modern diagnostic equipment to determine the level of foot deformity and musculoskeletal disorders, employs doctors and candidates of science, experienced craftsmen and young specialists. Orthomoda actively conducts R&D for itself and other market players, annually investing up to 10% of working capital in scientific developments. "The enterprise has received such development opportunities, in particular, due to the ready infrastructure and tax benefits, which are provided by the status of a resident of the Moscow SEZ - it is exemption from payment of transport, land and property tax, and the amount of profit tax is only 2%. Saved funds Orthomoda directs to the development of high-tech areas", - specified Dyogtev. The main types of foot deformities and locomotor apparatus disorders, with which Ortomoda works - is a diabetic foot (30% of total products), cerebral palsy, lymphostasis and hallux valgus ("knuckle on the foot"). In recent years, valgus deformity of the big toe is common among the younger generation, so the company has developed a line of shoes with the working name Halux valgus young. One of the causes of valgus deformity and flat feet at a young age is poor quality shoes worn by children and adolescents. These are ballet shoes, uggs, etc. To prevent these problems, Ortomoda has developed a line of school shoes Smenka - with a preventive insole, hard back, a small heel, fixing on the foot, due to which the correct shape of the top is formed. More than 50% of Orthomoda products are children's and 40% are women's orthopedic shoes.  "Today Orthomoda is developing smart shoes, which with the help of micro-sensors will read the list of laid down indicators while walking, which will allow to record the rehabilitation effect or promptly inform the user about the problems affecting health. The company is constantly working to implement advanced materials and technologies, but its main vector is the further development of digital services to erase boundaries and accessibility of customer services: remote ordering with elements of telemedicine, maximum customization of individual order," summarizes Natalia Volkova, CEO of Orthomoda. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
