Technopolis Moscow SEZ launches production of components for space and military equipment

The resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow has introduced a new line of power supplies for military and space purposes. Products were designed for import substitution as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. JSC "GK "Electroninvest" has developed radiation-resistant sources of secondary power supply (IVEP), ensuring the reliability of the electronics. “The company operates at the Alabushevo site in Zelenograd, where it has built its own plant with a total area of 2.4 thousand square meters, investments amounted to about 355 million rubles. The new development is intended for radio-electronic systems of spacecraft and military equipment, it was specially developed for import substitution. The products have already been launched into production, there are first customers”, revealed the Head of the Department. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow JSC "GK "Electroninvest" has been working in the market of radio electronic equipment for military and special equipment for many years, in 2017 the company became a resident of the capital's SEZ. “Resident status gave the company access to tax and customs preferences, enabling to implement the investment project with maximum efficiency. The company plans to further equip the production facilities created in the Moscow SEZ. As for the new product line, its creators managed not only to achieve the established high technical characteristics, but also to improve some of them. At the same time, the products are fully developed and manufactured on the domestic element base”, he added. Yemeljan Polyansky, the CEO of Electroninvest specified that the  participation in Russian space programs required the expansion and modernization of production. “Up to now the production has worked almost on the brink of its capabilities in order to ensure the unconditional fulfillment of deliveries. But the modernization of all production units and the last stage of commissioning for the so-called "clean zone", will fully resolve this issue doubling the number of high-tech jobs.
