Technopolis Moscow SEZ increased the printing of photobooks and albums by almost a third

The digital printing house from the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" in January - March of this year produced more than 350 thousand photo albums, printing books and photo books, which is a third more than the same period last year. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. “Last year, the Fotoexpert company transferred all its facilities to the Moscow SEZ site in Pechatniki, thereby securing a preferential tax regime, convenient logistics and the opportunity to cooperate with other residents. Thanks to this, in the first quarter of 2022, the printing house increased the volume of printing photo albums for kindergarteners, schoolchildren, students, as well as wedding albums and photo books about memorable events by more than 30 percent. In general, now the enterprise's capacities allow printing 50 million photographs and 1.5 million photo books annually,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The company accepts orders through an online service, now more than five million customers are registered there. On the platform, users can create an album of their own design, make changes to layouts online on the netPrint.ru website or through an offline editor, and share materials with each other. The minimum time for making a photo album is four hours: this is how much time passes from the moment an order is received on the website to the transfer of the finished product to the pick-up point located next to the Tekstilshchiki metro station. The printing house starts production at midnight in order to transfer finished products for delivery to logistics companies by 18:00. The arsenal of the digital printing house includes a developed IT process control system and about 80 units of high-tech equipment, including printing machines unique for Russia, said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. “The data centers of a resident of a special economic zone can store 926 million photos. The IT system developed by the printing house manages the storage, transfer of images, production and interaction with customers. A neural network is used to process images. In total, the company has about 80 units of equipment, including printing lines and machines, which are not found anywhere else in Russia. The Moscow SEZ resident works with more than a thousand printing houses and corporate clients across the country and plans to develop both services and production facilities. The presence of such printing centers in the capital contributes to solving the problems of import substitution in the field of printing and provides 237 high-tech jobs,” said Gennady Degtev. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Email: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" on social networks, follow the main SEZ news in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and get all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
