Technopolis Moscow SEZ has developed a control system for parachute cargo platforms

LMP Company, the resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow has developed a new system for automated control of parachute cargo platforms. The Laboratory have already completed the tests of the prototype as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The device is an autopilot with uploaded details of the landing site. The system independently manages the platform helping the cargo to reach its point intact and safe. The development can be used not only for the usual landing of cargo, but also in the rescue or research operations. It allows you to deliver goods to remote places, on the territory of natural disasters or to the epicenters of accidents. The device is ultimate wherever the presence of a person is life-threatening, and the landing of a large aircraft is impossible”, said Gennady Degtev. There are many imported inertial measuring systems on the Russian market, enabling to assemble an autopilot and an automated control system for parachute cargo platforms. However, their use requires significant refinement of the aircraft themselves and their avionics, as well as adaptation of the domestic airfield infrastructure to them. “In Russia, only unguided parachute-cargo platforms are produced. Unfortunately, there are no autopilots or intelligent control systems in the civilian market. Now we, together with the manufacturer of parachute systems - the company "ParAavis", are trying to create an advanced competitive product. It has great potential, since the niche for light and compact control devices for parachute and cargo systems of domestic production on the market is vacant and very promising", said Aleksey Timoshenkov, the CEO of the LMP company. Technological solutions and software incorporated into the new automated control system for parachute cargo platforms, in addition to transport aviation, can be used in industry - shipbuilding, rocketry and automotive. The LMP enterprise has been a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow since 2016 and is located at the MIET site in Zelenograd. Representatives of the company say that one of the main advantages of being located in the special economic zone of the capital is the possibility of infrastructural interaction with scientific, educational and industrial organizations operating on its territory. The main activity of the company is the creation of inertial sensors based on micro-electromechanical systems. The company has 30 employees. Among them - three PhD in technical sciences, one PhD in economic sciences and one Doctor of technical sciences (specializing in inertial micromechanics). The company's portfolio includes more than five patents for inventions in the field of inertial micromechanical sensors.  ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
