Technopolis Moscow SEZ company to launch production of new electronic components
A company from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the research and production centre SpetsElektronSistemy, will launch production of chips - microelements on the basis of which boards for various electronic equipment will be assembled. Similar products used to be purchased abroad. This was announced by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. Chiplet is a microcircuit specially designed to work with others of its kind. Previously, on-chip systems purchased from foreign manufacturers were used in the process of creating microchips. The company's specialists would design the product and send it to a foreign factory, from where they would receive the finished chip. Now the company has mastered the complex technological process of chip breaking and will set up its own production of such elements in Pechatniki, said Vladimir Yefimov. He added that the Moscow SEZ microelectronics cluster has 33 resident companies that are constantly mastering new technologies to optimize the production of electronic components. In the three quarters of last year alone, SEZ residents specialising in microelectronics created over 800 new jobs. In addition, they invested about 15 billion roubles in their development, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. According to Gennady Degtev, the General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, SpetsElektronSystems occupies about one thousand square meters, with 700 square meters of them being the so-called clean rooms. To monitor technological processes effectively, a special automatic control system with visualisation and documentation of monitored parameters operates at the company. Specialists have mastered a complex technological process for chiplet production - 18 micrometer thick gold wire crystal welding to the board body. Andrey Narbutt, director of the company's production complex, explains that the soft soldering process starts after a crystal has been firmly mounted and fastened on the board. A special apparatus welds thin gold wires, connecting each contact pad of the crystal to the corresponding pad on the board. The procedure is fully automated, and the company's method allows for over three thousand welding points per work shift. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
