Six companies - residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" joined the national project Labor Productivity in 2023, four of them are manufacturers of medical equipment and medical products. This was reported by the Director General of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev. The national project Labor Productivity is a measure of state support for business, which allows to increase the volume of output and reduce production costs without additional costs. In 2023, six companies of SEZ Technopolis Moscow joined the project - they are Medplant, TZMOI, Khirana +, Scanner, Instrument of New Technologies and Mikron. "Mikron, Russia's leading microelectronics manufacturer and resident company, by implementing lean manufacturing tools, has accelerated export production by 30 percent, reduced work-in-progress by 12.5 percent, increased employee monthly output by almost 13 percent, and reduced equipment changeover time by 30 minutes to two hours per day. This will allow it to save more than 50 million rubles during a year of participation in the project and direct them to the development of production," said Gennady Degtev, General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Medplant, a manufacturer of first aid and ambulance products, has started to implement lean production tools at the assembly area of a tourniquet for stopping bleeding. Work in progress is expected to be reduced by 50 percent, labor productivity will increase by 30 percent, and process time will be reduced by 32 percent. TZMOI, the leader in the domestic market of steam sterilizers, has chosen the medical equipment production line for drying and aseptic storage of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment as a pilot stream within the framework of the national project Labor Productivity. By 2024, the company expects to increase the output of these products by 30 percent. Hirana+, a manufacturer of ventilators, has selected an assembly shop, warehouse, and product receiving and shipping area for the pilot stream. Production and management personnel have already been trained in lean manufacturing tools, building goals and ways to achieve them, and creating KPIs for greater staff productivity. The project is expected to increase labor productivity by 15-20 percent. The resident company Scanner, specializing in the production of ultrasound machines, launched its production in June 2023 and immediately joined the national project. The pilot stream selected is the assembly area of the Ruskan 65 universal ultrasound machine of expert class with image processing technologies. Now the start-up meeting of the working group and trainings on lean production have already been held. Labor productivity growth is expected to be five percent per year. New Technology Instruments completed the active phase of implementing lean manufacturing tools in July 2023 in the metal band saw manufacturing area, which is the most marginal and promising product in the company's product line. "After six months of participation in the national project "Labor Productivity", the company has acquired technology and tools of work that allow to accelerate the pace of development and make the achievement of goals a manageable process. For example, the production time was reduced by 76 percent," explained Mikhail Syrkhaev, head of the company. In September 2023, another Moscow SEZ company - Proton plant - will join the national project Labor Productivity. It specializes in the development and production of radio-electronic products. Since 2022, the project implementation in the capital has been carried out by the Moscow Regional Competence Center (ANO "Mosstrategy"), subordinate to the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city. Applications for participation are accepted on the website of the national project operator in Russia with mandatory indication of the region: the city of Moscow. This and other information about the implementation of the national project Labor Productivity can be found at special events to be held from August 1 to September 10 within the framework of the Moscow Urban Forum - 2023. _______________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
