In the first six months of this year, 280 students of the capital city have completed internships and industrial practice in the companies of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. The TechnoTraining project, which was launched at the beginning of 2022, helps novice specialists to get professional skills, and enterprises - to find young staff for in-demand and scarce vacancies. This was reported by the head of the Department of investment and industrial policy, which is part of the Complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that more than 800 students have undergone internships in high-tech companies - residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow since 2022. "For high-tech production, which belongs to the most knowledge-intensive industries, it is important to attract novice specialists as early as possible, so that they acquire the necessary professional skills while still at the stage of training. Industrial practice and internship at the enterprises of SEZ Technopolis Moscow allows students to test theoretical knowledge live, and the employer to get more motivated staff. For the first six months of 2023, 280 students of Moscow's universities and colleges used the opportunities of the TechnoTraining project, which united more than 60 companies of the Moscow SEZ", - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Some of the most youth-oriented companies were Additive Engineering (3D printing) - 40 interns, Photo Expert (printing) - 29, Nanotechnology Center of Composites (new materials) - 19, Electroninvest (microelectronics) - 15, Amedart (pharmaceutical production) - 14 people. "The Moscow Special Economic Zone and resident companies have concluded more than 30 agreements with leading educational institutions of the capital on the organization of educational, industrial, pre-graduation practices and internships. Among them are MIET, whose innovation platform is located in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, RUDN, Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Technological University, and MGOK.
