SEZ Technopolis Moscow will start producing simulators for resuscitators

A company from SEZ Technopolis Moscow will launch serial production of breathing simulators this year – equipment designed to train students and doctors to work on a ventilator. This was announced by the Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic policy and Land-property affairs of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. A simulator called "Ventisim" reproduces the breathing of people with lung disorders of varying severity. The simulator is compatible with ventilators of any manufacturers. It is compact, easy to set up and manage. «Chirana+», a resident of the SEZ of Moscow, began working on the creation and improvement of breathing simulators in 2020. Initially, the simulator was conceived as an alternative to foreign analogues. As a result, the company's engineers managed not only to create their own technical solution, but also to fully localize its manufacture in Russia. The device will enter mass production in 2022, more than three million rubles have been invested in its development. By 2026, the company plans to produce 2000-2500 such simulators annually" - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. According to the manufacturer, the device is 1.5–2 times cheaper than foreign analogues. Testing of the device is now being completed in Russian clinics, which can purchase it in the future. Documentation and lines for serial production of the simulator are also being prepared. The company «Chirana+», specializing in artificial lung ventilation devices, has been working at the site Pechatniki since mid-2018. In 2020, the company received the status of a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. "The capacity of the enterprise allows to produce more than 500 units of medical equipment per year. The resident invested more than 66 million rubles in the development of production in the capital's special economic zone and created 30 highly qualified workplaces. Today, the equipment that the company produces is 70 percent complete with parts made in Russia," said Gennady Degtev, the CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. In addition, the manufacturer plans to expand production and increase capacity over the next three years. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ]   Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
