SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW WILL PRODUCE PACKAGING FOR MEDICINES

The new resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will build an enterprise for the production of packaging for medicines at the Alabushevo site. The volume of investments in production will exceed one billion rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. “Premium Standard Technopolis plans to build an enterprise for the production of packaging for pharmaceutical products, instructions for medical use and foil for blister packs by 2024. The volume of investments in construction is estimated at 1.1 billion rubles. The new complex will include about 10 thousand square meters of production and 5 thousand square meters of warehouse space. More than 400 people will be able to work at the enterprise,” said Vladimir Efimov. For more than 12 years, the Premium Standard group of companies has been producing packaging for medicine from leading international pharmaceutical brands, as well as Russian pharmaceutical companies from the commercial and public sectors. The geography of deliveries covers 19 regions of Russia. The construction of a modern production complex will allow the company to significantly expand the horizons of its presence. The enterprise became a resident of the Moscow SEZ only a month ago. This is the first production facility for the production of packaging for medicines in the capital's SEZ. The company plans to supply its products with up to 50% of the need for packaging materials of manufacturers of medicines and cosmetics in Russia. “Now the company is working on designing the premises of the new enterprise and agreeing on the necessary documentation. In the future, the resident of the Moscow SEZ plans to produce new types of products for the pharmaceutical, perfumery and cosmetology industries - tubes for gels and ointments. The enterprise intends to supply products not only within Russia, but also to other countries of the Euro-Asian region,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. Pharmaceuticals and medical technologies are one of the core activities of the enterprises of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Many of them will become clients of Premium Standard Technopolis, as they produce and package medicines. “In the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, chains of cooperative ties “manufacturer-processor-consumer” are being created. Thanks to them, the cost of transporting medicines is reduced, which makes it possible to reduce the final cost of products,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. At the moment, 21 residents of the medical cluster work in the special economic zone of Moscow.
