Enterprises of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow participating in the photonics cluster will present cutting-edge solutions and products at the Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics. It was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, a part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital city. Exhibition Fotonika. World of Lasers and Optics [ http://technomoscow.ru/event/vystavka-mir-lazerov-i-optiki/ ] will take place in Moscow on the territory of Expocentre from 28 to 31 March 2023. Special Economic Zone Technopolis Moscow for the first time takes part in a specialised exhibition of laser, optical and optoelectronic equipment. Last year, an inter-industry photonics cluster was created on the platform of the Moscow Innovation Cluster. It brought together Moscow enterprises and scientific and technical organisations, about half of them are residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. It is important for colleagues to understand the trends of the new industry development and communicate with each other on professional topics," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. SEZ Technopolis Moscow has become the centre of the capital's ecosystem for the design, production and implementation of photonic integrated circuits (PIC) as the basis for most photonic devices of the next generations. It includes design centres, factories, test labs and facilities. Photonic technology is now at the forefront of technological progress. They can increase the speed of data processing and transmission by a factor of 50 to 100, making them indispensable for the development of high-speed internet and fifth-generation cellular networks. Photonics is the most promising area of the production and research activities of enterprises in the capital's SEZ. At this year's main exhibition on photonics the resident companies will present their own achievements and original developments, including those within the framework of import substitution, many of which have already passed the stage of prototypes, General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev explained. The Zelenograd Nanotechnology Centre will present its current product line - MEMS sensors, digital and photonic integrated circuits, sensors of physical quantities and future flagship product - optical waveguide multiplexer. The developed module has no domestic analogues based on domestically produced optical chips. Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to get acquainted with the control and measuring equipment which is available at the new measuring laboratory for integrated photonics at the Zelenograd nanocenter. One more Zelenograd enterprise Rokor will demonstrate products from artificial sapphire, without which it is impossible to create high-class optical devices and watches. The company Lassard will exhibit optomechanical products, optical tables, semiconductors and various types of lasers (fibre, solid-state, semiconductor, excimer lasers), as well as optical fibres. Neoros will present Russia's first high-speed transceivers with 200-400 gigabits per second, which are already in production, and splitters - data channel splitters. The event is an opportunity for direct contact with leading experts in all photonics technologies. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
