The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow, JSC Zelenograd Nanotechnological Center (ZNTC), has modernized the production site to expand the manufacturing of microelectronics, and to give access to advanced technologies for the start-up innovative companies supporting the center as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “The upgrade of the site enables to produce sophisticated microelectronic items for power supplies, electric motors, and communication systems. Additional technical capabilities of the center will contribute to the development of the microelectronics, optics and robotics cluster of the Moscow SEZ, which by the end of 2020 became one of the leaders in investments which amount to 2.7 billion rubles. During its work in the SEZ as a resident company, ZNTC has invested more than 2 billion rubles in its site. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, the volume of investments exceeded 90 million rubles”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center has been specializing in the development and serial production of items in the field of nano- and microelectronics for more than 10 years. In addition, the company helps start-up companies to develop: participates in financing their projects, and also provides the necessary high-tech equipment. “The nanocenter is a full-cycle complex for the development and contract manufacturing of microelectronic products. The modernization carried out will expand the capabilities of innovators to create new and competitive products. The task of the Zelenograd Nanocenter is to transform science into market solutions and finished products”, stated Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The modernization of the site opened up opportunities for domestic enterprises to access technologies such as 3D-integration of multichip modules, as well as to the assembly of power and microwave electronics based on gallium nitride and integrated photonics for communication systems. 3D assembly technologies are used, in particular, to reduce the size of devices and equipment. Nanocenter provides turnkey manufacturing capabilities for electronic modules underlined Anatoliy Kovalev, CEO of ZNTC. “The specialists of the nanocenter help small enterprises, start-ups, student projects to optimize design solutions, to manufacture prototypes and pilot batches of products. JSC ZNTC not only co-finances projects and provides a production line, but also helps companies enter the market” specified the Head of the Center. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
